As well as correspondence between Kocan and Dr Lucas, the collection includes letters of Dr Oliver Briscoe (Kocan's first psychiatrist at Morisset Hospital) and other medical and custodial officials. There are also two issues of 'Topica', August 1967 and April 1968, and a Morisset Hospital literary magazine which was edited by Kocan.
